RIP, Lemmy!

I can scarcely believe it! :o  But sadly, Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister has passed away at 70.  Probably everyone that listens to rock at all has at least a passing familiarity with Motorhead.  Lemmy fronted the band about as long as I've been alive!  Its seemed as though he could never die.  RIP, Lemmy- you will be missed.

Well crap... I was just thinking about him again and looking him up on on the web just a few days ago. And found myself being curious how much longer he was going to live... Rock and roll has lost a king.
Saw Motörhead in Vegas on our wedding night in 2000.
RIP Lemmy!

RIP Lemmy!
You were a legend!
I saw Motörhead in 1986 and met the band (without Lemmy) at a Good Vibrations.
One of the best concerts ever!  Too bad that three of the members have passed away now.

He just celebrated his 70th with an all-star party at the Whiskey out in LA

I think of Hawkwind.  I have always been more of a Hawkwind guy.
