To make things easier on us in our manufacturing of the chassis and required inventory, we are streamlining the Basis and Basis Plus linestages. This will allow us to prebuild chassis to have in stock greatly cutting back on turnaround times.
Shown below are the front panel layouts for both the split chassis design as well as the single chassis design.
To maintain the slightly warmer nature we were after with this circuit voicing, we have moved to the carbon based volume control. To allow matching with most any amplifier out there, we have also added the independent Left and Right fine gain adjustment which also provides the ability of having a balance control.
Once we sell out of our current Basis linestages on special, we will be using the below designs as a standard. You will still have options in veneers or going with an all hardwood chassis.
