Hackerspace for Audio

Here is a great video on the Hackerspace in San Francisco and the movement in general. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wamwklXWK4M

We have one in Santa Barbara that is devoted mostly to 3D printers currently. I didn't see any audio projects going on. Typical of Santa Barbara.

The space in  SF has analog, circuit hacking and audio going on in addition to digital. Does anyone know of a space with a large audio following? Perhaps one could be started. There are lots of digital hacker spaces but I see few are devoted to analog, which is an entirely different skill set.

Roger: Other than the Burning Amp and Randall Museum groups, every other group is mostly online.

In the SOMA area is TechShop, which I'm sure you're aware of. But no analog, as you mentioned: http://techshop.ws/take_classes.html?storeId=4
