Nice CB. You made me go check that newly found bin, and yep, it's there. Will have to do some spinning this weekend.   Cheers

Jack DeJohnette's Special Edition  ~  Tin Can Alley

ECM

Roberto of Cacti, ECM is a terrific label, innit.  I think the guy what owns it is a well-heeled German with great taste in jazz.  He's probably done more for European jazz players than anybody.  Here's a little gem from my collection:

Harvie Swartz on bass with two mallet instrument players and drums.  Swartz is one of the best kept secrets I know of.  Cheers.

Terrific live 1961 recordings, 2 discs per night. With Wynton Kelly on piano, Hank Mobley on tenor, Paul Chambers on bass, and Jimmy Cobb on drums.

Trio format with Richard Davis and Roy Haynes performing at the Village Vanguard, in New York, on September 16-17, 1959. Four extra tracks from the same engagement have been added to the original ones released, thus making this the "Complete Edition". These four extra songs complete all of the existing music from the date and appear here for the first time ever on CD.
