got these at the local starpower expo in dallas at a nice price as they are discontinued. i haven't had time to really sit down and do them justice listening but they are very detailed, fast, and clean sounding. while they don't go as low in the bass as my usher 6381(35hz compared to 29hz. for the usher's), the bass is tight and fast. these are pretty big speakers as i was only thinking about bookshelves to go in my secondary system. i will be driving them with a virue audio m901 with cap and dodd tube buffer running on batteries or i can use the m901 as a preamp with my usher r-1.5 power amp. anyone that wants to take a listen sometime just let me know.
