Hi, I'm waiting for my preamp and speakers to arrive.

But can I plug them in and powerup to break them in first? Or do I need connect them to a preamp or speakers?

Thks for your replies.  :D

You can hook them up and turn them on, but with no load on them it may not break them in as much as you would like.

You can turn them on but, do not plug in any interconnect cables. Cables can pick up static and RF garbage that is undesirable and can even cause damage.

Leaving them on will help form all the caps to accept a full charge and may give you a head start on your break-in. Not a bad idea...

Playing music content at medium to high power levels will still be required for about 100 hours to be absolutely sure they are sounding their best.
