Hello Curt, thank you for the update! It seems as if you are tied up in a fighting with your product design, but with the introduction of the finished product the battle is over. According to your update you are busy with the next generation of preamps (?) and the crossovers are done or the next step. As I found only DIY solutions for active spekers, I hope for your introduction of active filters, as soon as possible!

yes have been drooling for years over the prospect of a preamp with an active cross, ht passthrough, and remote volume.

Why a product like this has never come out I still cant figure out but there remain many of us that want to run dual sat/sub fronts for Music AND HT.

Cant wait for this product to come out.

Just want to say that my experience with IRD in the past was a very good one.  The Purist is a high quality preamp put out by a professional high-end audio company.  My compliments Curt.
