If the young guys want to learn, the old guys can teach.  That shouldn't be boring.

Yes, an ironic post, indeed.

Couldn't you just lurk like many of the others? Why commit to leaving, it not like your membership expires for not posting.  Hope you find what you are looking for.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.

That was probably intended as a "chuckle," John, though he might be bitching on a Vietnamese porn forum somewhere...

Why make a big formal announcement and show of it?   Just fade away.  Just too much drama and attention seeking behavior on here sometimes.  Supposed to be fun, not as serious as some make it out to be.

If the old guys want to learn the young guy can teach too....but that doesn't seem to interest many old timers in the audio industry.

Yeah, nobody can quit AC!  You have to be fired/voted off the island/have your sense of humor revoked/shunned.

Note to self: Avoid looking at selfies on Vietnamese porn sites.

Yeah, you can't quit.  The only way out is if you accidentally electrify yourself in a DIY project gone horribly wrong and even then, we'll need to see a notarized certificate from the coroner.
