selling our reference preamp...

We are selling our reference preamp, a rare RedRock Audio preamp. RedRock was a company started by the late AL Stiefel who I'm sure most of you know was the founder of RMAF along with his wife Marjorie. The preamp was designed for his $80,000 amps and was initially listed at $12,000. There were two built , (Marjorie has the other one!). This is a great preamp, dual mono design with essentially a two box unit in one. The bottom half is fully isolated and holds the power supply with the preamp itself in the top chamber. Very detailed, three dimensional and liquid sound.
I'm selling because I will soon have a more expensive custom preamp and NO I am NOT at liberty as yet to say anything more about that project! :nono:

This is a chance to have a killer preamp at a very affordable price and a piece of audio history to boot.
selling for $1,800. (This was originally $12,000) I want to give the AC crowd first shot at this so I will wait a while before listing anywhere else.

Lou - I assume that this preamp does NOT have a phono section. Can you confirm?

correct, there is no phono stage. It has three inputs with one of them being switchable between RCA and XLR.
