Hey BRAX, the results of Brian's work playing in your listening room is all that matters. Those are fine speakers. The VMPS Mystique is alive and well in the products. The business of selling speakers is a wild battlefield. Brian made mistakes and changed course as he learned and experimented just like any other long term manufacturer. Getting people to buy a product requires all kinds of bullshit. Trying to sell against a well established myth is almost impossible in any volume. Example, people think you can't get good imaging from a wide baffle. Ugly solder joints don't sound good. Large cones aren't fast enough. Some of Brians designs were all wrong by today's current myths. But listen to them! Some were great, others were not. Yours are great.
