Sorry - forgot to update this thread. Procedure went fine. Recovery is going much faster than they expected. I'm actually bored now with all the stuff I can't do for a couple of weeks yet. Thank goodness for my GIK work. Still get tired and need a bit of a break in the middle of the day but have been up and around, out of the house, etc. since Wednesday of last week.

Dr. Murphy at Mo. Baptist. My son's mother-in-law found out about the problem and got me in to him on 2 days notice. Did the valve replacement and a dual Maze procedure. I would highly recommend him and Mo. Bap. if anyone in the area needs anything like this done. Excellent staff.
