US $ 25,000 per pair

Hi Albert,

I had been trying to find more information about this model. Would you like to expand on it a little bit? Is this VSA's answer to the premium bookshelf speakers like the Magico Q1 and Raidho C1.1? Are the magnesium drivers mentioned same as the drivers used in 100XS? Are these magnesium drivers superior to the Accuton drivers used in the VR 55's? As you know, I own a Shockwave V15 and very curious to partner it with a premium bookshelf speaker.

As it is priced above the 2 box and higher model designation Unifield Three Mk2, should we expect even better performance than it's bigger brother?

Warm regards,
Fernando

If they have a similar form & function as the U2 Mk1, it would be larger and will go lower than those mentioned Ding. A more logical comparison in terms of performance envelopes would be against something like the TAD CR1.

PRESS RELEASE. -  UniField Model Two SIGNATURE

Many of our Asian customers have very small rooms but large budgets.  We have been asked to design an extremely high performance version of our best-selling monitor, where overall sound quality (except for ultimate SPL) would be second-to-none.  Using our VR-100XS as our reference, we designed new magnesium drivers along with modifying the internal labyrinth for deeper bass response.  The standard UniField Model Two is a 2.5 way design, where both the woofer and large midbass driver cover the entire bass range to provide more bass punch.  By contrast, the new SIGNATURE is a true 3-way with purer midrange clarity due to elimination of frequency modulation in the midrange. In addition, the premium drivers and hyper-expensive crossover parts are superior to the parts found in competing monitors in the $20-40k range.

Naturally, a new crossover circuit needed to be designed and utilizes the best sounding parts available.  Priced at $25,000 per pair, they may appear to be quite expensive, but if you compare the SIGNATURE  to other minis at this price point, you'll discover that our new model offers deeper and tighter bass, with similar transparency and clarity comparable to the best speakers in the world.  Moreover, our concentric design ensures "state of the art" imaging and realism second to none. Optional finishes available, call for more information. Don't miss the Constellation Audio room at the upcoming Newport Show, where Constellation will be demonstrating their new Inspiration Series with our UniField Model Two SIGNATURES.

As always, Happy Listening
