BCD-1 playable tracks?
« on: 22 May 2015, 09:55 pm »
I was just playing a CD with 45 tracks.  The BCD-1 stopped after track 37.  When I tried to enter a specific track number higher than 37, the display read out MAX 37 and then went to STOP.  I don't suppose there's any work-around to bypass this feature.

I believe the CD Format does allow 99 tracks.  Don't know however as I don't have a dedicated CD player (last one owned was the BCD-1) and never had any discs that tested the limited number of tracks.

Hi Folks,

It is the Phillips CD dedicated drive we used in the BCD-1 which is the limitation.
