Anyone have any alternatives to the Dayton SPA250. Needs same footprint obviously.  I am in need of my 4th one in five years. This is getting old.

I use DC blockers and PS Audio protection.

I would leave the old plate amp in place (to cover the hole in the cabinet) and buy a one of those cheap Crown class D amps to hookup outboard. You'd need to mount speaker terminals somewhere to the cabinet, but that's pretty easy. Might be more rigging than you want, but I think one of those Crown amps would be more reliable and flexible for you long term.
