Man.  I used to be solidly in the solid state mindset, but I began shifting to tubes about a year ago. I'm currently tube pre and hybrid amp, but I'm seriously considering buying a tube amp.

I'm so confused.

I have tube preamps in both the main and one back-up system.  At some point, I may end up with a tube amp in a system somewhere.  I also have another system with a solid state amp and preamp.  So I guess I may be undecided for a bit :o

Tried a few tube amps and was unimpressed. They weren't worth the effort to me. It'll be solid state for me thanks.

In all my projects, I always build a wall between my tube circuits and solid state circuits.

I end up paying for both though... :duh:

Best,
Anand.

I vote for this guy.

During today's election it can be hard to know who to vote for. Have decided to add my name as write-in vote for President. During these modern times i know it can be hard to decide. Cones, planar, ribbons electromagnet, neodymium, alnico... I feel ALL loudspeaker drivers have an inalienable right to be free to live their life pursuing musical happiness.
That you have a God given right to choose vacuum tube or solid-state amplification be it Class A, Class A/B, Class D...
That the ongoing WAR ON DYNAMIC COMPRESSION can be won, and so if you vote for me as President i shall do all within my power to end that senseless war that has been waged for decades.
That all homes will have a high-end audio system, and that your rights will be upheld and protected to the fullest so that you may have the freedom to enjoy the music of your choosing.
Thank you for sharing this on FB and remember to write me in as your candidate for President. Post a photo here of your ballot with me as your chosen write-in vote and let others know you <3 music.
My name is Steven R. Rochlin, your next President, and in the end what REALLY matters is that YOU... Enjoy the Music  :D
