This is the best DAC I have ever heard in the sub $1500 price range. No Bullsh!t.
A decent review thread is here:

I have switched once again to a Metrum Menuet and it was not an easy choice on which of these two DAC's to keep. It's in very good condition with nothing worth noting cosmetically. Tube was upgraded to a (almost) NOS Western Electric 396A/2C51 w/ "D"-getter as recommended on the MHDT website. http://dhost.info/mhdtlab/tube.htm HUGE improvement from the stock GE JAN tube.
Shipping and Paypal included in 48 states.

Hi Robert,
I'm not looking to buy this but could you tell people where this falls in the MHDT line up? I have a Havana in a third system which is a wonderfully musical nos dac but have no idea how this would compare?
Anyone looking for a nice warmth and analog like sound for a very good price these MHDT dacs are hard to beat.
