Supercharged SongTower in quilted maple dyed plum

We always like to have a spare pair of speakers when going to a show. So, for AXPONA, we built a pair of Supercharged SongTowers.

I always wanted to use our double-dye process on quilted maple with a plum-colored dye. Naturally, that is not necessarily what most customers would order. But since we had to pick a finish, I decided to give it a try. I really like the results.

I really like the violet hue on finish

That was my team growing up in MN. They were a field goal from extra point range from knocking the Seahawks out of the playoffs. Looking forward to next year.

I saw these at AXPONA this weekend -- they are truly nicer in-person. I told someone working the room that, if I told my wife I was bringing home purple speakers, she'd have my head. If I brought home THESE purple speakers, that would probably be just fine. They are lovely.

Am thinking I should have Jim refinish a guitar body for me....

We saw these at Axpona as well. As is typical with Salk speakers, the photos never do them justice- and these were no exception. They are really stunning.

Someone is going to be really fortunate to pick these up. They are plum crazy stunning.

I'm sure I will be pleased. The death of his purple badness, my all-time favorite artist, makes this purchase all the sweeter.

Congrats on the speakers, they are stunning.

I certainly feel your pain, may these be a reminder of one of the great artists to live on this planet.
