Standing in the Breach finds Jackson in fine form. His trademark melodic songwriting, mature lyrics along with world class musicianship make this an album that bears repeated listening. This is 70's front porch sunset music, put your boots up on the railing with a cold one in one hand and your lady on the other and the dogs around you, it doesn't get any better than this.
He is 66 after all.
