Odyssey Lorelei's For Sale **SOLD**
« on: 13 Jul 2012, 04:09 am »
A pair of Odyssey Lorelei speakers for sale.

Asking $1100   (Retail $2700)

These speakers feature Danish made ScanSpeak drivers, often found in speakers costing $10K or more.

The internal wiring is upgraded Groneberg TS Premium wiring to the tweeters, and Groneburg Quattro Refference to the woofers.

The crossover features some upgraded flat wire heavy gauge Alpha-Core inductors, Sonic Craft caps and Mills resistors.

Terminating the wiring are beautiful polished WBT binding connectors, giving you the option of using banana plugs, spade terminals or bare wire connections.

The sonic signature of the speakers is slightly warm, yet bringing out all of the sonic details without being bright.

The large volume cabinet coupled to the 7" woofer, large inductors, and rear port creates surprising bass.  Although they technically don't reach down to sub-bass, I don't feel a need to use a sub with them.

These are the best sounding speakers that I have owned.

Thanks guys for your support.

I love these speakers, the best I have had.

For the full experience, check out my ad for the matching Odyssey Strattos Extreme Mono Block amps.

Seriously you wont touch the sound of these speakers for many times the price.

Selling my system due to personal reasons.  If not I would keep my Odyssey speakers indefinitely, after 3 different speakers, I finally found a pair I can listen to all night, they just make me smile.
