So I had another thread about replacing the left 5.25" mid woofer which was clearly blown in my uninhibited moment the other day when I cranked the volume a little high. It looks like Hugh of Angel City Audio may come through for me on sourcing that driver.
I think this may possibly have been the case since the same incident, but I'm noticing that the tweeters are at least almost completely silent. They may be silent.
The Minis are being driven by an Emotiva RPA-1 (200 wpc). I tried another source into the RPA-1 with the same results. Seems much more likely I popped the tweeters than the power amp being to blame. Anyone else out there popped the Mini's tweeters like that? Is it likely to happen to both at once?
