The dealer where i got the Hyperions said to me a Klipsh center would be very good alternative, he said they weren't that different in sound.
When i visited that dealer on an other day the then new klipsh paladium was playing and i must say the sound wasn't miles away from the Hyperion sound to say the least.
Even the smaller cheaper Klipsh XL-23 LCR home theather center speaker would do he said but i'm not to sure about that.
