Hey gents - welcome - you've been added to the list now  :thumb:

Don't know how I missed you 3 weeks ago funnytube/Kent, but somehow I did (I was away in Asia about that time and came back with a nasty Asian flu, so perhaps I can use that as my cover )

Cache Valley, north Utah.

Highest carry permits per capita in the US.  Trials over about six weeks after the arrest...what's an "appeal"?  Court appointed defense attorney's most frequent query to client: "You don't want to plea this out because exactly why?"  A very friendly & wonderful place to live.  Five canyons & several thousand miles of US forest ten minutes from the door.  Infants in shorts in 35 degree whether.

I describe the location of Discovery Bay thusly - approximately one-hour East of San Francisco, one-half-hour West of Stockton, and one-half-hour North of Livermore.  To be specific it is here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wl&q=Discovery%20Bay%2C%20CA

I've been in NORCal since 1996, 4 years in the Santa Cruz mountains (Los Gatos/Boulder Creek), 5 in Brentwood and now 4 in Discovery Bay.  I am a from SoCal - born (but not raised) in LA and lived in North San Diego county from 1977-1993.

Haven't lived there (San Francisco) in years but can't miss a chance to reminisce.  The lower Haight right across the street from 1090 Page near Divisadero.  Big Brother used to rehearse in the parlor.  Traded the owner of Both/And on Divisadero some avant garde jazz albums for lifetime free admission.  A block off upper Fillmore on Sacramento across from the dental college.  Japanese town.  Honeymooned at Deetjin's Big Sur Inn on the coastal highway.  Plan to visit Carmel early next year.

I'm from sunny Fairfax, and a member of BAAS, although haven't managed to get my calendar availability aligned with any events yet!

Moved here a year and a half ago from rainy England. Am up for showing anyone my system if they are around Fairfax. I'm running a Mac Mini music server with DSP eq into a Weiss DAC 2 into Linkwitz Orions

Capitola, but as a true Northern Californian - Fort Bragg - I think of everything south of Sonoma County as Central California, and even Sonoma County is suspect. Funny story - when I was in Europe I met a woman from Eureka and when I told her I was from Northern California, since I was from Fort Bragg she told me that up in Eureka Fort Bragg isn't considered Northern California. Maybe people in Crescent City lump Eureka in with Los Angeles.
