So what am I---chopped liver?  :bawl:  Sacramento

eek - sorry Don....stressful time in my life both March and April - as I was moving from one house March 31, 'homeless' for 12 days until my new house began (same town/Tiburon), and my belongings didn't arrive until April 17.  Thanks for letting me know I missed ya'- it's been rectified now  :thumb:

papajohn10 - If you 'left your heart in San Francisco' we can count you in  If you've gone all tropical and now sign on your emails with 'aloha' rather than 'hi' 'hey' or 'hello' like mainlanders....then you cannot  :P :)

Sonny/Tuan - We added you long ago

bahorn1 - Welcome to AC :thumb:

OK John,  You are forgiven.  I thought maybe you were "elitist" and discriminating against us unfortunates in the far, far east Bay.

Hope you are all settled in now.

Offhand, not sure of the answer for you.  But, if you post your question in the Log-in help area, Rich, aka MaxCast, will answer it for you.

CERTAINLY with a name like 'Frisco' you can be on the NorCal list

It's been 30 years since I lived in Northern Calif, but it used to be only "foreigners" referred to "The City" as Frisco. It was kind of a dig back then.

yep agreed "frisco" was highly frowned upon and a sure sign that you did not live here/nearby. I knew better after a month of arriving here from the east coast, about 18 years ago.

But "what is old is new again."  So it seems that "frisco" is somewhat in vogue, since the term is sort of retro and the seventies look seems to be swinging back around again (in fashion anyway).

Streets of San Francisco anyone?!  "Book em Mike"

Hey folks, I'm in Berkeley. I'd love to hear some other systems if there's interest in that.

John, I came to your house a few years ago and bought a Phonomena preamp from you. You might remember me. How you doing? Sounds like you moved.

Hiya' Mark...yes, I do indeed remember you.  I moved, but only 0.5 miles lower down the hill in Tiburon.

Great to hear from ya'....swing by Vinyl Circle, too, every once in a while  :thumb:

Kent Leech  Berkeley hills, CA.

Just found this group after meeting some of you at Burning Amp. Nice to find this circle!

I have collected many vintage tube amplifiers but my main interest is building my own.

Had many ideas over the years; hope to put some together. Finding like minded souls really helps!

Best- Kent
