Introduction - M2
« on: 15 Nov 2017, 03:31 am »
Greetings from West County St. Louis Missouri - Where to start - First Zenith repair 5th grade rode the bike to the drug store and tested the tubes, found a bad and fixed the radio.  50 years later I am still riding the bike, no tubes at the drug store.  My current system is being powered by a heavy as hell Sansui 9090.  I have intermediate repair capabilities and have repaired dozens of tube am/fm radios and consoles.  I have a 10' x 10' booth at the Creve Coeur Antique Mall and attempt to sell repaired audio equipment.  Current inventory at the booth is a Sansui 8080 and AR2 Speakers.  I am hoping to be able to use the Gateway Audio connections to help me find a tube receiver such as a Fisher 800, Sansui 1000A or possibly an integrated Eico tube amp.  My Turntable is a Thorens 150 or my Techniques 1700.  I would love to trade the Sansui 8080 or a Pioneer 1080 for the tube amp.  I am looking forward to the next swap meet.  Thanks to Dave, Ted and Mike for the encouragement.
