Aftermarket RCAs for 200s anyone?

Hello Dusty,
Have you ever installed "aftermarket" RCAs on your D200s?
The amps I bought were XLR since I am still undecided about which preamp to get. So if I ultimately choose to get a sigle-ended pre, I might want to have you convert to same on the amp. (Yes, I know it has true balanced input, but I'd like to do away with the adapter, eventually). It might be fun to try some of the high-quality types out there (not to imply that you aren't using good parts already!)

Have you ever heard the amp with other RCAs?
Is there any requirement for aftermarket RCAs - Are there some that won't fit etc?

To all - What RCAs would you choose if you were forced to switch?
Thanks Dusty, and everyone for your thoughts.

Early versions of D-100 used a teflon insulated Cardas copy in a standard RCA cutout.  To allow for choice of RCA or XLR, current models use a standard XLR cutout. For single-ended RCA input, we use a Neutrik type that fits in the XLR cutout.

To use other types, you'd have to make an adapter plate. There is no sonic difference in the two types, and I doubt you'd hear any difference with any others...possibly if using a passive preamp and capacitance becomes an issue.
