Title: Stacking power supplies?
Post by: snoogly on 17 Feb 2015, 11:36 pm
I've had to downsize the space I house my audio equipment in, and I think I may need to stack my Ciaudio power supplies. Is stacking them a good idea? I guess it's never going to be a good idea, but is it a 'bad' idea?  :?

I don't think it's a bad idea but probably not the best.  More importantly is to not stack the PS and whatever it's powering together.

Jason is correct... not the ideal but much better to stack power supplies on 1 side, and components on the other.
Never stack a component on top of a power supply or the opposite.

Many thanks. Not ideal, but doesn't seem to be causing any obvious problems.
